I named this sandwich for it's goldish color. The sandwich is a nice, tasty twist to the regular sloppy Joe. Anyone I have served this too loved it...and asks for the recipe. It's very versatile...add other goodies if you so desire. This is how I made it today... This can also be kept warm, until serving on low in your crock pot. My photos

  • 1 3/4 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small red or green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 - sweet onion, diced

How To Make blonde sloppy joes

  • Step 1
Brown ground beef, garlic, onion and peppers in a skillet in oil, until beef is no longer pink and veggies are soft. Add salt and pepper. Drain if needed. Mine was lean, was no need to drain.
  • Step 2
In a bowl, mix the soup, ketchup and mustard.
  • Step 3
Mix this into the burger. Stir well to combine.
  • Step 4
    Simmer until heated well throughout.
  • Step 5
Time to serve on toasted buns.
