I named this sandwich for it's goldish color. The sandwich is a nice, tasty twist to the regular sloppy Joe. Anyone I have served this too loved it...and asks for the recipe. It's very versatile...add other goodies if you so desire. This is how I made it today...

This can also be kept warm, until serving on low in your crock pot.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 3/4 lb
lean ground beef
1 Tbsp
oil
1 small
red or green bell pepper, diced
1
sweet onion, diced
2 clove
garlic, minced
1 - 10 can(s)
cream of chicken soup - undiluted
3 1/2 Tbsp
ketchup
1 1/2 Tbsp
mustard
salt and pepper
toasted
buns for serving

How to Make Blonde Sloppy Joes

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef, garlic, onion and peppers in a skillet in oil, until beef is no longer pink and veggies are soft. Add salt and pepper. Drain if needed. Mine was lean, was no need to drain.
  • 2In a bowl, mix the soup, ketchup and mustard.
  • 3Mix this into the burger. Stir well to combine.
  • 4Simmer until heated well throughout.
  • 5Time to serve on toasted buns.
