beef stroganoff
This recipe is a family favorite. We cook it several times a month. I often don't add the extra salt. It's also easy to double if you're expecting company. For my WW friends, the points (not including the noodles) is 9 per serving. It's an extra 6 points to add a cup of egg noodles.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef or 1 pkg stew meat
- 1 package mushrooms sliced, 8 oz
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 packages brown gravy mix (equal to 8 tablespoons) + 1 cup water
- 1 - onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 package egg noodles
- - sour cream to garnish
How To Make beef stroganoff

Step 1Brown meat and saute onion.

Step 2Combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, soup and brown gravy (already mixed with 1 cup water) in a bowl.

Step 3Put meat and onion mixture in crock pot. Stir in mushrooms. Pour sauce over top.

Step 4Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Step 5Cook noodles.
