This is a recipe from my family friend - Mrs. Ewell. When I was born, I was named after her husband - Mister Billy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 pound round steak, cut in finger size
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 cup sour cream
- - dried noodles
- - cooked rice
How To Make beef stroganoff

Step 1Sauté onions in butter or margarine.

Step 2Mix beef, salt, pepper and paprika.

Step 3Add mixture to onions.

Step 4Cook until the meat is a grayish color.

Step 5Add soups, water chestnuts and mushrooms.

Step 6Cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

Step 7Add sour cream.

Step 8Remove from heat.

Step 9Serve on rice with dried noodles on top.
