This is the recipe that came with my crock-pot. It looks good enough to share.

Ingredients

  • 2-4 pounds beef chuck stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 6 small potatoes, quartered
  • 2-3 - onions, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced

How To Make beef stew

  • Step 1
    Season the meat with salt and pepper. Dredge in the flour and place in a crock-pot.
  • Step 2
    Add the remaining ingredients and stir them well.
  • Step 3
    Cover the pot and cook until the meat is tender, 8-10 hours on low, or on high for 5-6 hours. Stir and serve.
