My daughter and I made this up together. We love making our own recipes and adding seasonings until it tastes good to us. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Of course you could adjust all the seasonings until it tastes good to you.

Ingredients For beef or venison stew

  • 1 - 2 lb
    venison or beef roast cut into bite sized chunks
  • 1 sm
    onion, diced
  • 8
    baby carrots, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 6 - 8 lg
    potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 8 c
    water
  • 8
    beef bouillon, cubes
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    basil
  • 1 tsp
    thyme
  • 1 tsp
    parsley
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 dash
    salt
  • 1 dash
    pepper

How To Make beef or venison stew

  • 1
    Put everything in the crock pot except the flour, salt, pepper and 1 1/4 cups water.

    Cook in crock pot on high 4 - 6 hours, until the meat and vegetables are cooked thoroughly.

    Mix together the flour and water. Use a fork or wire whisk to mix til there are no lumps.

    Remove lid to crock pot and stir as you pour in the flour mixture.

    Put lid back on and cook another 20 - 30 minutes.

    Now you can dish it up into bowls then salt and pepper to taste.
