Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds beef round steak, cubed
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 8 ounces baby portebello mushrooms, sliced
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 - carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make beef burgundy

Step 1Turn slow cooker on high.

Step 2Place flour in a shallow dish. Flour the beef

Step 3Melt butter in skillet. Then brown the beef in the butter for 5 to 6 minutes. Place browned beef in the slow cooker.

Step 4Add wine and the cooked bacon. Cook for 4 hours.

Step 5Add mushrooms, onion, carrots, salt and pepper. Add water and broth. Cook an additional hour.
