How to Make Beef Bourgugnon
1Heat oven to 325 degrees
2Saute beef cubes in shortening until brown stir in flour , pepper, thyme scrapping bottom of skillet.
3Transfer all into 2 qt. baking dish Pour on beef broth and wine . Cover and bake 2 hours stirring occasionally.
4After 2 hours add mushrooms and onions and bake 2 more hours add more wine if needed.
Skim off any fat and serve with mashed potatoes.
