bacon cheeseburger meatloaf
I had originally found this recipe via Paula Deen. It is a wonderful meatloaf for kids and picky eaters. I usually double this recipe because we both love this meatloaf and want left overs! This is the ONLY meatloaf I make these days!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 package (8 ounce) sharp cheddar, grated
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs, toasted
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 can (3 ounces) french fried onions
How To Make bacon cheeseburger meatloaf
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-
Step 2In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck and the next 8 ingredients, mixing well.
-
Step 3In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and mustard. Stir 1/4 cup ketchup mixture into meat mixture, reserving the remaining ketchup mixture.
-
Step 4Press meat mixture into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan or shape into a loaf and place on a rack on a broiler pan. Spread remaining ketchup mixture over the loaf. Bake 40 minutes. Top with French fried onions, bake another 10-15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
-
Step 5COOKS TIPS: I leave the onions off as I am allergic. You can use any kind of mustard you want, I use yellow and sometimes spicy brown. Use any kind of cheese you have on hand as well. I have doubled this recipe and instead of using 2 pounds of ground beef have added 1 pound ground pork.
