Ingredients

  • 1 pound extra lean, ground beef
  • 1 pound extra lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5-6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugars, brown
  • TOPPING
  • 3 oz cans french fried onions

How To Make bacon cheeseburger meatloaf

  • Step 1
    1.Preheat oven to 350 2.Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside 3.In a large bowl place ground meats, egg, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder 4.Using your hands gently combine all the ingredients until they are all combined, if mixture feels too dry add in a little beef stock (or beef broth) as needed 5.Take 1/2 of the meat mixture and place it on the prepared pan and shape into a long loaf 6.Place crumbled bacon and shredded cheese over meatloaf 7.Take remaining meat mixture and place over bacon and cheese and gently pinch together with bottom half to make one meatloaf, shaping as you go 8.In a small bowl combine all the glaze ingredients, stirring until they are combined 9.Using a spatula spread glaze over the top of the meatloaf 10.Place in oven and cook for 45 minutes , or until desired doneness is reached 11.add french's fried onions to top cook 15 more minutes 12.Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting 13.ENJOY!!
