Got this recipe from my friend Dorothy is the best chili i ever had
her husband won several contest with it .

    olive oil
  • 4 medium
  • 2 medium
    green bell peppers
  • 2 lb
    ground sirloin
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground chuck 90% lean
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato paste 6oz
  • 2 can(s)
    tomato sauce 16oz each
  • 4 can(s)
    chili ready tomatoes
  • 3 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 jar(s)
    chili powder 3oz each
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground black pepper
  • 3 can(s)
    kidney beans 16oz
  • 1 can(s)
    pinto beans (12-13 oz )
  • 1/2 tsp

How to Make award winning Chili


  1. Brown meat and drain, Heat oil in 12 quart pot over medium heat. Saute onions, green peppers and minced garlic until softened about 10 minutes, add meat,tomato paste, chili ready tomatoes and tomato sauce stir. Add garlic powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and oregano, stir until mixed well add kidney beans, pinto beans stir until mixed well . reduce heat simmer on low for 3 hours stirring every 15 minutes
