Ingredients
- 3 pounds stew beef
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6-8 medium potatoes
- 3 - carrots, scraped and sliced
- 1 pinch thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped, fresh parsley
- 3 medium onions, chunked
- 3 tablespoons tapioca
- 1/2 package frozen english peas

Step 1Put all ingredients except for frozen peas in slow cooker and cook on high for 5 hours.

Step 2Add in frozen peas in the last 10-15 minutes of cooking.
