My family says this is their favorite soup at any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts water
  • 11/2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 6 - russet potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
  • 2 bunches fresh kale, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 pints heavy whipping cream
  • 2 pounds italian sausage, hot
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

How To Make toscana soup

  • Step 1
    Scrub and cut potatoes.
  • Step 2
    Add potatoes, water, bouillon, onions, and seasoning to pot.
  • Step 3
    Add chopped kale and sausage.
  • Step 4
    Stir in cream. Add pepper flakes. Let simmer at low-medium heat for about an hour.
