Ingredients

  • 1 - frozen pie crust
  • 2 medium tomatoes sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon basil, dried or fresh
  • 1/2 small onion diced fine
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise

How To Make tomato pie

  • Step 1
    slice tomatoes,rinse and set on paper towel.
  • Step 2
    cook pie crust until almost done and get out of oven. put a layer of tomatoes on pie crust. add half of the onion, pinch of salt and pepper and basil. add 1/4 of your cheese and put another layer of tomatoes.
  • Step 3
    mix your mayo,cheese,salt,pepper,basil,onion and garlic together in a bowl and spoon mixture over the top of the pie. cover the whole pie with mixture. bake in oven for about 25mins on 375.
