Ingredients

  • 2 packages frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 pound ham, cooked and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni, diced
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 14 ounces mozzarella, slices
  • 1/4 pound bologna, sliced
  • 1/4 pound hard salami, sliced
  • 1/4 pound swiss cheese, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 14 ounces pizza sauce

How To Make stromboli

  • Step 1
    Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
  • Step 2
    Punch down.
  • Step 3
    Roll loaves together into one 15x12 rectangle.
  • Step 4
    Layer ham and pepperoni on half of the dough lengthwise.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle with onion and green pepper.
  • Step 6
    Top with 1/4 cup pizza sauce.
  • Step 7
    Layer mozzarella, bologna, salami and Swiss cheese over sauce; sprinkle with basil, oregano, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Step 8
    Spread another 1/4 cup pizza sauce on top.
  • Step 9
    Fold plain half of dough over filling and seal edges well.
  • Step 10
    Place on a greased 15x10x1 baking pan.
  • Step 11
    Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Step 12
    Brush with butter.
  • Step 13
    Heat remaining pizza sauce and serve with sliced stromboli.
