frozen bread dough, thawed
1/4 lb
ham, cooked and thinly sliced
1/4 c
pepperoni, diced
1/4 c
onion, chopped
1/4 c
green bell pepper, diced
14 oz
mozzarella, slices
1/4 lb
bologna, sliced
1/4 lb
hard salami, sliced
1/4 lb
swiss cheese, sliced
1 tsp
dried basil
1 tsp
dried oregano
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
14 oz
pizza sauce

How to Make Stromboli


  • 1Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
  • 2Punch down.
  • 3Roll loaves together into one 15x12 rectangle.
  • 4Layer ham and pepperoni on half of the dough lengthwise.
  • 5Sprinkle with onion and green pepper.
  • 6Top with 1/4 cup pizza sauce.
  • 7Layer mozzarella, bologna, salami and Swiss cheese over sauce; sprinkle with basil, oregano, garlic powder and pepper.
  • 8Spread another 1/4 cup pizza sauce on top.
  • 9Fold plain half of dough over filling and seal edges well.
  • 10Place on a greased 15x10x1 baking pan.
  • 11Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • 12Brush with butter.
  • 13Heat remaining pizza sauce and serve with sliced stromboli.
