I got this recipe from my Aunt Inez about 50 years ago..I did tweak & tune it just a bit! My meatball recipe will follow!

Ingredients

3- 12 oz cans tomato paste
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oregano
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoons basil, dried
1 tablespoon accent
1/2 cup grated cheese (romano)
2 - leftover pork chops or ribs (for flavor)
12 cans water (tomato paste cans)

Mix altogether & simmer at least 3 hours.
