learned this recipe in homec in high school. still one of me and my moms favorite dinners.

  • 1 c
    vermicelli, uncooked
  • 1 can(s)
    tomatoes, canned and diced
  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 small can(s)
    tomatoe sause
  • 1/2 small
    onion finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 6-8 slice
    american cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded mozzerlla cheese

How to Make spagetti casserole


  1. break spagetti noodles into 1 in pieces. preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. in a large skillet cook ground beef and onion, until onion is tender and beef is no longer pink. drain grease from beef and return to skillet. add tomatoes, tomatoe sause, and worcestershire sauce. simmer 15 minutes.
  3. while the meat mixture simmers, boil spagetti noodles till tender, and drain add to meat mixture.
  4. in a loaf pan place half of mixture, top with american slices. add remaing mixture and top with shredded mozzerella.
  5. bake 15-20 minutes, or untill cheese is golden and casserole is bubbly. let sit for 5 minuted before serving. serve with garlic bread and salad.
