top round, bottom round or sirloin tip steak (any lean-cut) cut into strips
1 14 1/2 oz
can italian recipe tomatoes and 1/2 cup water
red pepper, cut in small strips
green pepper, cut in small strips
onion in rings
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make simmering italian pepper steak
Brown strips of steak in a lightly oiled skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
Add onion in rings and peppers cut in strips. Add tomatoes, 1/2 cup water and 1 teaspoon italian seasoning.
Cover and reduce heat. Simmer on top of stove for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
