This is a Fabulous recipe and can be served with white rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 pounds top round, bottom round or sirloin tip steak (any lean-cut) cut into strips
  • 1 14 1/2 ounces can italian recipe tomatoes and 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 - red pepper, cut in small strips
  • 1/2 - green pepper, cut in small strips
  • 1/2 medium onion in rings
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning

How To Make simmering italian pepper steak

  • Step 1
    Brown strips of steak in a lightly oiled skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Add onion in rings and peppers cut in strips. Add tomatoes, 1/2 cup water and 1 teaspoon italian seasoning.
  • Step 3
    Cover and reduce heat. Simmer on top of stove for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
