I found a sausage soup online a while back. It was bland so I made some changes to it to suit my families taste. It has become one of our favorite soups when it is cold out. Enjoy!

Ingredients

mild italian sausage
1 lb
hot italian sausage
4 large
carrots sliced
3 medium
zucchini sliced and cut in half
1 large
onion
3 can(s)
northern beans do not drain liquid ( regular size cans
4 can(s)
beef broth (regular size cans)
2 can(s)
italian stewed tomatoes (regular size cans)
1 lb
spinach
4 oz
whole wheat rotini noodles
garlic powder
salt

How to Make Sausage And bean soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1season mild and hot italian sausage with garlic powder and brown.
  • 2add sliced carrots,tomatoes,broth,beans,zucchini,and onion. let simmer until vegetables are soft.
  • 3meanwhile cook rotini in seperate pot.
  • 4when vegetables are cooked and soft add rotini and spinach and cook until spinach is cooked which should only take a few minutes. add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5serve hot with warm dinner rolls. Enjoy!
