This recipe is really good and my family has loved it,over the years.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomatoe paste
  • 1 12 ounces water
  • 2 teaspoons oregano, ground
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons italiam seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons basil, dried
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 cups onions
  • 2 cups green peppers
  • 5 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 can chopped mushrooms
  • 9 packages shredded mozzarella cheese or more

How To Make quick homemade lasagna

  • Step 1
    Chop the onion and green peppers,mushrooms,and then ground chuck and cook until done, remove and drain the grease.
  • Step 2
    Then put back unto pan, and add the seasonings, tomatoes and paste and water, and let it simmer for 1 1/2 hrs. The last 30 minutes cook the lasagna noodles.
  • Step 3
    When the noodle are cooked and drained,put a layer of meat-sauce on the bottom of pan,then noodles then mozzarella cheese,then keep repeating the steps until cheese is on the top,I usually make it three layers for each pan,it makes two pans.
  • Step 4
    Then place in a 350 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
