pizza casserole
Who doesn't like pizza in any form? I am excited, this is my first posting of a recipe here! Please let me know If there is something I can do to make steps more understandable, or any suggestions you might have. Thank you. :-)

Ingredients
- 1-16 oz. bag uncooked rotini pasta
- 1 pound ground italian sausage
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 1-16 oz. - container cottage cheese
- 1-small can sliced black olives, drained (optional)
- 1-4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
- 1-12 oz bag shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3-oz. packages sliced pepperoni
How To Make pizza casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9X13 casserole dish. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place pasta in the pot, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente, and drain.

Step 2In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until evenly brown, drain grease. Mix in the cooked pasta and pasta sauce. Pour into prepared casserole dish.

Step 3In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, olives, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.

Step 4Spoon the cheese mixture over the sausage and pasta mixture. Top with pepperoni slices.

Step 5Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until bubbly and lightly browned.
