Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 4 oz
    shredded cheese, your preference
  • 4 oz
    pepperoni (or turkey pepperoni), diced
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg
  • ·
    pizza sauce

How to Make Pepperoni Pizza Muffins

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 12 cup muffin pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and oregano. Whisk together the milk and egg and add into dry mixture. Stir in the mozzarella and pepperoni and let stand for a few minutes.
  3. Stir the batter and divide evenly among the muffin cups. Bake until puffed and golden, about 18 to 23 minutes.
  4. Warm pizza sauce in the microwave for about 15 seconds or heat on the stove in a small sauce pan. Serve the muffins with the pizza sauce for dipping.
