chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
2 c
flour

eggs, beaten
2 c
bread crumbs
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
onion powder
salt/pepper to taste
1/2 c
olive oil
1 c
mozzarella cheese
1 c
parmesan cheese
3 c
marinara sauce

How to Make Oven Baked Chicken Parmigiano

Step-by-Step

  • 1cut the chicken breasts in half, (ending up with 8 pieces) pound them each gently till even
  • 2season all with salt/pepper/garlic powder/onion powder.
  • 3drench in flour, eggs, then bread crumbs, in a large casserole dish put half the olive oil at the bottom,align the pieces and drizzle the tops with the rest of the olive oil, bake at 350 for 30 mins, pour marinara sauce( look under my recipes) or use your own. Top with mozzarella/parmesan cheese and bake another 10 mins till bubbly...serve over your favorite pasta
