i was given this when i was young Nora was one of the great italian cooks! She always had 6 course dinners ready at 6pm. all classic homemade, Soup, bread, salad, meat, pasta, vegi( green beans, and cakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can tomato puree
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsly
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 1 can chicken stock
  • - salt and pepper to taste (i put in at the end of cooking
  • 1 - carrot
  • 1 - onion
  • IN A FOOD PROCESSER MIX THE GARLIC, PARSLEY, BASIL, CARROT AND ONION UNTIL SMOOTH.

How To Make nuna noras gravy (tomato sauce)

  • Step 1
    brown the meat with a dash of olive oil.
  • Step 2
    add tomatoes, puree, bay leaves, chicken stock and the vegi mixture into a crock pot or dutch oven.
  • Step 3
    cook in crock pot for6-8 hours dutch oven 2 hours on stove top low to medium.
