Ingredients

  • 1 can italian crushed tomato 28oz can
  • 1 can italian puree 28 oz can
  • 1/2 cup olive oil(darker the better)
  • 3-4 - basil leaves or 1 teaspoon chopped basil
  • 4 - chopped fine garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion powder
  • 1/2-1 can water depends how thick you like it
  • - pinch of salt and pepper to taste

How To Make nana joann italian sauce

  • Step 1
    In Large saucepan,saute garlic in oil.Add puree and crushed tomato's stir well.Add rest of ingredients stir well.If you like add as much water as you like but atleast a 1/2 a cup stir cover.If you have meat put it in make sure the meat is cooked.Cover cook on med-low for 2-3 hours.Good Luck
