italian crushed tomato 28oz can
1 can(s)
italian puree 28 oz can
1/2 c
olive oil(darker the better)
basil leaves or 1 teaspoon chopped basil
chopped fine garlic cloves
1/2 tsp
granulated garlic powder
1/2 tsp
granulated onion powder
1/2-1 can(s)
water depends how thick you like it
pinch of salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Nana JoAnn Italian sauce


  • 1In Large saucepan,saute garlic in oil.Add puree and crushed tomato's stir well.Add rest of ingredients stir well.If you like add as much water as you like but atleast a 1/2 a cup stir cover.If you have meat put it in make sure the meat is cooked.Cover cook on med-low for 2-3 hours.Good Luck
