My boyfriend wants this every week and I do too. It's a yummy sauce and I even made it for Christmas Dinner last year!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. - spicy italian sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 large red onion
  • 2 medium celery stalks
  • 1 - green bell pepper
  • 6 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes w/ basil, oregano& garlic
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • 3 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 2/3 cup water

How To Make my spaghetti sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook Italian Sausage until well cooked. Drain off grease. Add chopped onion, celery and bell pepper along with Italian seasoning and cook until veg are crisp-tender.
  • Step 2
    Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste with 2/3 cups of water. Mix well and let simmer covered for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 15 minutes until hot. Serve with Garlic bread and a salad if you like. Enjoy!!!
