One of the entire family's favorite "finger foods" mom served on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve/Day and on Super Bowl Sunday. It keeps well in the fridge but, doesn't last very long!

cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2-2 c
monterey jack cheese, shredded
1 1/2-2 c
mozzarella cheese, shredded
1-2 tsp
oregano, dried
1 can(s)
chopped black olives (small)
1 can(s)
tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 can(s)
tomato paste (5.5 oz.)
1 can(s)
oil (vegetable or olive - use empty paste can)
loaf of sweet french bread

How to Make Mom's Pizza Bread


  • 1In a large mixing bowl, mix well: all cheese, oregano, olives, tomato sauce, tomato paste and oil.
  • 2Cut loaf of french bread in half, lengthwise. Spread mixture on bread, in a somewhat thin layer or it won't completely melt and place under broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • 3Slice and serve.
