  • 2 - beef bouillon, cubes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano, dried
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon majoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 cup water or beef broth

How To Make marie's homemade spaghetti sauce

  • Step 1
In dish put either 2 cups of beef broth or 2 cups of water in microwave and boil it, add the bouillon to the water and dissolve.
  • Step 2
While the bouillon is dissolving cut your onions and garlic.
  • Step 3
Add onions and garlic to the beef broth.
  • Step 4
Put your ground meat into your pan and break it up using a spoon, add the hot beef broth and let it simmer on low stirring and breaking down the meat.
  • Step 5
Once the meat is completely cooked add all seasonings, stir them in well.
  • Step 6
Add the tomato paste and stir in well.
  • Step 7
The sauce should look like this by now, add the sugar now.
  • Step 8
Let sauce simmer on very low so it dont burn or stick to bottom of pan, mine cooks around 2 to 3 hours.
  • Step 9
(Optional) When sauce is getting a little thick or cooking down add the extra cup of water or as much as you like to loosen the sauce up a little. Let it cook about half hour more if you add the extra water.
