Jodie's Italian Sauce
1 lbground sirloin
1 lbitalian sausage, no casings
2 largetomatoes, canned and cut up
4 can(s)tomato paste, italian
4 clovegarlic minced
·salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbspsweet basil, fresh
How to Make Jodie's Italian Sauce
- Brown: Sausage, ground sirloin, and garlic, push to side away from grease.
Brown: Tomato paste in grease for 3 minutes.
Blend tomatoes to thin paste then add meat to sauce.
- then add the same amount of water using the tomato cans to mixture. Add salt and pepper to mixture to taste, and sweet basil, stir every so often.
- Let boil for 10 minutes.
Put burner on simmer for 3 to 4 hours......
