Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    beef round steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 lb
    bulk italian sausage
  • 1 large
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large
    green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 can(s)
    sliced mushrooms, (optional)
  • 1lb. 8 oz. jar(s)
    spaghetti sauce
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1
    loaf thickly sliced italian or french bread

How to Make Italian Sub

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet add oil & lightly brown round steak,drain. Next brown Italian sausage until cooked and crumbly.
  2. Place browned round steak & sausage in a 5 qt. slow cooker. Layer onions, bell pepper strips & mushrooms over meat. Add salt & pepper to taste. Pour spaghetti sauce over all. Cover & cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over thick slices of fresh Italian or french bread.
