Ingredients
- 1 pound beef round steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 pound bulk italian sausage
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 can sliced mushrooms, (optional)
- 1lb. 8 oz. jars spaghetti sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 - loaf thickly sliced italian or french bread
How To Make italian sub

Step 1In a large skillet add oil & lightly brown round steak,drain. Next brown Italian sausage until cooked and crumbly.

Step 2Place browned round steak & sausage in a 5 qt. slow cooker. Layer onions, bell pepper strips & mushrooms over meat. Add salt & pepper to taste. Pour spaghetti sauce over all. Cover & cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over thick slices of fresh Italian or french bread.
