My mom used to make these meatballs whenever we had spaghetti, and they are still my favorite meatballs! I use either ground turkey or ground chicken breast whenever I make these instead of the traditional ground beef, and they taste just as good! I also use this recipe to make an Italian flavored hamburger with a slice of Provolone cheese melted over the top. YUM!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How To Make italian meatballs

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together and form into balls of desired size.
  • Step 2
    In a large skillet, brown meatballs on all sides. Drop into spaghetti sauce & cook for 20 minutes. Serve with spaghetti or as meatball sandwiches.
