Ingredients

  • 24 slices italian bread
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 - tomatoes sliced thinly
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese (fresh)
  • 1 jar pesto

How To Make italian crostini

  • Step 1
    place bread on baking sheet and sprinkle with olive oil. bake at 350 until slightly brown. remove and cool
  • Step 2
    in a mixing bowl add cream cheese and garlic powder and mix thoroughly
  • Step 3
    after bread has cooled begin assembly of the crostini. 1st layer: spread the cream cheese onto the bread 2nd layer: spread the pesto 3rd layer: place tomato 4th layer: place mozzarella on top. Bake at 350 until cheese is bubbly.
