We have this pizza a lot with our Friday night pizza night. It's really easy, simple and quick to make.

  • 1 pkg
    active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
    warm water (105-115 degrees)
  • 2 1/2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 jar(s)
    homemade style pizza sauce
  • 4 c
    colby jack cheese
  • 1 pkg
    wilson pepperoni

How to Make Homemade Pepperoni Pizza


  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water in a medium bowl. Let sit for a few minutes.
  2. Add flour, oil, and salt. Knead about 20 times or until dough is smooth and elastic. Let dough rest for 5-20 minutes.
  3. Shape dough with hands and put in pizza pans. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes.
  4. Put sauce, cheese and pepperoni on crust and bake for 12-15 minutes more or until crust is light brown.
  5. You can put other toppings on you like.
  6. Sometimes I like to put the cooked pizza under the hot broiler for 5 minutes to make the crust a little 'stiff'. My kids like it this way.
