grilled pizza
I thought I would give this a try, and it turned out well. This tastes just like it came off of a wood-burned stove. (I have a gas grill.) I made a 13" pizza and served it with a side salad. Delish!

Grilled pizza is fun to serve at a dinner party, but hard to find good directions. This recipe is a great step-by-step guide on how to grill pizza right. We opted for Karen's topping recommendations and they made it a flavorful meat and veggie pizza. Feel free to use what your family likes, though. This is a totally fun and yum summer dinner recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 - 13" prepared pizza crust
- 1/2 - jar pizza sauce
- 1/2 pound mild Italian sausage, cooked
- - pepperoni
- - onions
- - green pepper
- - grated Parmesan cheese
- - mozzarella cheese, low-fat
How To Make grilled pizza

Step 1Warm the pizza crust on the grill; maybe for 5 minutes. Watch it or it will burn unless you have a gas grill where you can control either side of the heat. (I turned off the one side and cooked it there.)

Step 2After heated through add the pizza sauce.

Step 3Then the cheese and all of your toppings. Heat through.

Step 4Turn off the grill and close the lid.

Step 5Let the cheese melt. Serve with a side salad.
