I got this recipe from a neighbor years ago that belonged to a gourmet club. It is so delicious and special enough that I have even made it for Christmas dinner more than once! There are 3 parts to this recipe. I will post them seperately. If you like a lot of flavor, you will love it!!

Ingredients

  • ITALIAN SAUSAGE

  • 2 lb
    course ground lean pork
  • 1 Tbsp
    course ground fennel
  • 2
    bay leaves, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 3 clove
    garlic, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp
    hot dried red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh ground black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    water

How to Make Gourmet Spaghetti - Part 1 - Italian Sausage

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together all ingredients and let rest in refrigerator for 1 hr. Then mix again. Use this sausage to make the meatballs.
