fantastic fettuccine carbonara
I don't make this often, but when I do I make it right...through the years I have lighten it up somewhat, however there are KEY ingredients you cannot cut corners on.

Ingredients
- 1 box fettucine
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- - salt/pepper to taste
How To Make fantastic fettuccine carbonara

Step 1boil pasta, al dente (slightly firm to the bite)

Step 2meanwhile in a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients ( except the bacon) cook bacon till crisp ( I make in the microwave) then drain, let cool and crumble

Step 3drain the pasta and combine with the mixture, as well as the crumbled bacon, place in a large casserole dish, sprinkle with more parmesan cheese, cover and bake at 350 for 20 minutes...stir and enjoy
