1Place butter in a large heat proof bowl. Using an electric mixer set on low speed, beat until smooth. Add the cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until blended; set aside.
2Bring large saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain well and immediately add the hot pasta to the butter mixture in large bowl. Using 2 forks, toss the fettuccine int he butter mixture to coat well. Add salt and pepper. Shred basil and top each serving with it, serve immediately.
