I got this recipe from a friend of mine who is Italian. They got this name because when I made them for another friend he said they looked like cement mixers! LOL!

Ingredients
- 1 handfu10 - fresh basil leaves chopped
- 1 - handful of fresh parsley chopped
- 2 - handfuls of fresh baby spinach chopped
- 2 pounds riccota cheese
- 1 pound mozarella cheese shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pound large shell macaroni
- 2 jars 28 ounce size of a good speghetti sauce or homemade sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small diced onion
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 large green pepper chopped
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 pound italian sausage
- 1 pound italian blend shredded cheese

Step 1For the shells: Mix 10 chopped basil leaves, 1 handful of chopped parsley, the chopped spinach, the ricotta cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder and the Italian blend shredded cheese together in a bowl. Set aside. Boil the shells for 4 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Stuff with above mixture so that the shells will still close. Place in a large deep baking pan.

Step 2For the sauce: Brown hamburger, sausage, onions, garlic and peppers til onions are tender, drain off excess grease. Add other herbs and sauce plus a half a jar of water. Simmer for 1 hour stirring often. Pour over shells. Top with mozarella cheese. bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees F. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
