I found this recipe in the "Taste of Home Quick Cooking" magazine more than 10 years ago and it quickly became a family favorite. My husband sometimes uses foil instead of greasing the pan, and we usually substitute sliced pepperoni for the ground beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds 90% lean ground beef
  • 1 can pizza sauce (15 oz)
  • 2 - tubes (12 oz each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make bubble pizza

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in pizza sauce.
  • Step 2
    Cut each biscuit into quarters; place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Top with the beef mixture.
  • Step 3
    Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheeses.
  • Step 4
    Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
