baked ravioli
(1 RATING)
Time-saving being the mother of a new mom's invention, I assembled this dish once for a weeknight dinner that I could put together with one hand and hold a baby on my hip with the other. That baby is now five but the dish remains a go-to favorite around my house.

How To Make baked ravioli
-
Step 1Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
-
Step 2Basic assembly: Spray bottom and sides of an 8x8 ceramic pan with cooking spray. Add 1/4 cup of sauce to the bottom of dish and tilt from side to side until sauce covers bottom of pan. Add first layer of ravioli, approximately 9 - 12 pieces and cover with 3/4 cup of cheese. Top cheese with 2/3 cup of spaghetti sauce. Repeat layers twice, finishing with sauce. Add water to spaghetti sauce jar, cover with lid, and shake to liquefy any remanining sauce in the jar. Pour over layers. Mix melted butter, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and parsley. Scatter mixture over top of casserole and bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly. Allow to rest 15 minutes before serving.

Step 3You can personalize this casserole with different flavors of sauce and ravioli fillings. We really enjoy a creamy tomato or vodka sauce with chicken ravioli, too.
