This is a very easy pizza dough. I found if you pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees, than turn off the oven when you put the dough in to rise. This will help the dough rise much faster than setting on top of your oven.

How to Make Awesome Pizza Dough

Step-by-Step

  1. Put yeast, sugar and warm water in mixer with dough hook. Let stand for about 5 minutes until foamy.
Once foaming, add olive oil and salt. Than add the flour, one cup at a time until dough starts to pull away from dough hook. Once completely mixed, turn out onto floured surface and knead for a few minutes.
  2. Oil a heat proof bowl and place dough in the bowl, cover with a towel. Let rise until doubled, about an hour. To make the dough rise faster, put in a pre heated oven at 200 degrees. Turn oven off before you put the dough in.
  3. Punch down dough and let rise again. About a half hour. Roll out and enjoy.
