Ingredients
- 8 - 1 inch thick slices french bread
- 5 - eggs
- 1/2 cup half & half ( or whole milk )
- 1/3 cup mango juice
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1/3 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
How To Make mango macadamia nut french toast

Step 1In a medium size bowl combine eggs, half & half, mango juice, nutmeg, sugar and orange zest. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2In a small skillet place chopped macadamia nuts, cook over medium-high heat until lightly toasted. Remove, set aside.

Step 3Heat griddle. Dip bread into egg mixture; coat well. Place on hot griddle.

Step 4Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden, turn bread over, cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Step 5Place French toast on a platter. Sprinkle with toasted macadamia nuts. Top with sliced strawberries and warm maple syrup
