My Family loves My way of making it, even My Ex Husband calls me up every year around thanksgiving for his company Luncheon so he can make it for them. which has turn out to be a Big request every year for him to bring.. Gotta Love it..

Ingredients

  • 7 cans french sytle green beans
  • 2 packages shredded colby jack cheese
  • 2 cans small can cream of mushroom condensed soup[
  • 1/2 cup kraft mayonaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 cans durkees fried onions
  • 1 3/4 bottles bacon bits
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 sprig black pepper

How To Make green bean casserole.

  • Step 1
    pre heat oven to 425 , in a large bowl open and empty all the cans of frenchs green beans and drain very well all the liquid. while draining open cans of soup. and measure out your mayonaise, sour cream and pour into your mixing bowl all ingredients except the beans at this point. mix all wet ingredient together then add in the green beans. sprinkle in your garlic powder to desired taste Do Not Add any salt.may add pepper (optional) pour blended mixture into a large casserole dish may need two dishes . once all mixture is in the casserole dish. take 1/2 bottle of bacon bits and blend into mixture, now add a full bag of colby jack cheese and mix all together. now mix in a 1/2 can of dryed fried onions.. place dish into oven for about 30 minutes. about 5 minutes before time is up take second bag of cheese and cover the top of the dish till cheese is golden brown. Remove dish from oven and sprinkle around the outer edge of the dish the remaining dried fried onions all the way around the dish , then finalize the dish with remaining bacon bits sprinkling on top of cheese.. so pretty and so Yummy enjoy..
