Ingredients

4 large eggs
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/4 cup real maple syrup
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
8 - hot dog rolls, cut into 1/2 lengthwise
3 tablespoons butter

How To Make easy french toast sticks

Step 1

In lg shallow bowl, beat eggs, maple syrup, powdered sugar and cinnamon w/ a whisk or a fork.

Step 2

Melt 1 tbsp butter in lg skillet, over medium heat. Dip hot dog roll sticks in egg mix, coating both sides. Place rolls in skillet, a few at a time.
Step 3

Cook about 2-3 mins per side, or until golden brown. Repeat w/ remaining rolls, adding more butter as needed. Serve w/ extra maple syrup.
