My husband told me one day "I hate salmon! It's so fishy." So I made it my mission to prove him wrong. We just got married and he hasnt had the chance to have my salmon patties! So I made some for him without him knowing I was using salmon. I told him I used canned chicken then he took the first bite and says this isnt chicken lol...So after he got done gobbling them down I told him it was pink salmon. He didnt believe me so I had to retrieve the can out of the trash. He loves them!!! I plan on making this for our valentines day dinner seafood always is romantic!!!

How To Make valentines day dinner (salmon patties)

  • Step 1
Salmon Patty-In a large bowl combine the "Salmon Patty Mixture" ingredients together. This will be a little dry.
  • Step 2
Sauce-If your making the sauce combine all ingredients together in a small seperate bowl.
  • Step 3
Cooking!- Use a frying pan on your stove top. Set the heat to medium high and give a splash of olive oil in the pan. When you can start to see the olive oil thinning it should be warm enough to cook with. Roll your salmon patty mixture into balls of your desired amount. I would not go any bigger than a 3 inch ball. Then flatten the ball in your hand to about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Let it cook on one side for about 5 minutes. The patty should have golden brown spots and be crispy on the one side. Flip and cook 5 minutes on the other side. Adjust temps on the stove top to achieve a more crunchy and toasted look to the patty.
  • Step 4
Serves- About 2-3 people Perfect side's for lunch- Baby dill pickles!!! Perfect side's for dinner- Mac & cheese, Salad
