tuna tostada melts

My favorite way to eat a tuna melt. I really like the crunchiness of the corn tostada with the tuna. Use your favorite tuna salad recipe if you like.

Ingredients For tuna tostada melts

  • 2 can
    tuna, packed in water
  • 2 lg
    hard boiled eggs
  • 1 tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dill, dried
  • corn tostadas
  • grated cheese
  • diced tomatoes

How To Make tuna tostada melts

    Drain tuna, peel boiled eggs and chop them up. Set aside

    In a large bowl mix spices, sugar, vinegar, mustard, and mayonnaise. Stir until everything is combined.

    Add tuna and eggs and stir to well incorporated.

    Set oven to low broil. Place tostadas on a baking sheet and top tuna mixture on tostada and cover with cheese I used a blend of sharp cheddar and pepper jack . Broil until cheese is melted. Keep an eye on it so the tostada does not burn. Top with tomato.
