  • 14 oz
    elbow noddles
  • 1 c
    sweet red peppers
  • 1 c
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, cold
  • 4 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    white pepper
  • 3 c
  • 12 oz
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese

How to Make Tuna Noddle Casserole


  1. cook the pasta
  2. preheat oven to 350
  3. melt the butter in a skillet add chopped onion cook 3 minutes then add celery and sweet red peppers and cook another 3 minutes
  4. sprinkle in the flour,white pepper and salt cook and stir 1 minute
  5. slowly add the milk stir until thick
  6. add in pasta , tuna and 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese
  7. and for more flavor if you like add a pinch of fresh dill then pour into a 16 inch dish sprinkle on the rest of the cheese cook uncovered for 20-30 minutes
