Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mixed herbs of your choice
  • 2 cans each 6 ounce water packed tuna drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
  • 1 large apple peeled and fine chopped
  • 4 slices thick multi grain bread
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 3 - green onion thinly sliced

How To Make tuna melts my way.

  • Step 1
    Preheat Broiler with rack 6 inches from heat. In a bowl whisk together the mayo.\, yogurt, herbs.s&p. with a fork break up the tuna into smaller pieces to bowl add tuna, onion and cucumber, apple and half the cheese.
  • Step 2
    Place the bread on a baking sheet and lightly toast both sides lay the spinach on the bread and top with tuna mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese broil for 3 to 4 minutes until tuna mix is warm and cheese on top is melted.
