This is a wonderful recipe when the weather is hot and you don't want to heat up the kitchen or you wont something simple ad refreshing. I got this recipe over 35 years ago when we lived in South Dade, Florida, where it stayed hot all year. It has become a favorite over the years and I am pleased to share it with you. Hope you enjoy..

1 large
can of white water packed tuna, drained and flaked
1 small
box of macaroni or shell pasta, cooked & drained
2 stick
celery ribs, diced
1 small
onion, minced
1/2 medium
green pepper, diced
1 small
jar pimentoes, drained and diced
1/2 c
sweet pickle relish
3 medium
eggs, hard boiled, and chopped
1 Tbsp
heaping of yellow mustard or tbs. vinegar
1/2 c
ranch dressing
1 tsp
1 c
baby lettuce leaves
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Tuna Mac


  • 1Cook and drain pasta and put side. Drain and flake tuna and mix with the pasta
  • 2Chop vegetables and mix with tuna and pasta
  • 3Add pimento, pickle relish and mustard and chopped eggs.
  • 4Add the ranch dressing and mayonnaise and the spoon of sugar....Mix well...Salt and pepper to taste Serve over lettuce leaves...Serve with crackers....
