Tuna-Casserole Supreme

onion, chopped
1/2 c
green bell pepper, finely chopped

celery, chopped
8 Tbsp
1 can(s)
cheddar cheese soup
1/2 c
8 oz
mushrooms, sliced and drained
1 tsp
1 c
green olives, stuffed
6.5 oz
tuna, drained and flaked
1 c
corn flake cereal, crushed
1/2 c
almonds, slivered


1Preheat oven to 400.
2In a large saucepan, saute onion, pepper and celery in 4 tablespoons butter.
3Stir in soup and milk, and cook over low heat 10 to 12 minutes; add mushrooms, salt, pimiento stuffed olives and tuna.
4Pour into a 2-quart casserole.
5Melt 4 tablespoons butter; stir in corn flakes and almonds.
6Spread on top of casserole. Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes.
