Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles or macaroni
  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup onion (chopped small)
  • 1/2 cup salad dressing
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can tuna (drained)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 can peas (small can)
  • 1/2 cup potato chips, crushed

How To Make tuna casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook noodles with 2 teaspoons of the salt for 5-7 minutes. Drain. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in large frying pan or dutch oven and add the 1/4 cup chopped onion and saute till soft.
  • Step 2
    Add 1/2 cup salad dressing, can of cream of mushroom soup, tablespoon of mustard, tuna, 1/4 cup of milk and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix well, add noodles and stir in peas to your taste. Heat through.
  • Step 3
    Pour into buttered cassserole and top with crushed potato chips. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
